On July 9, we lined up at the starting line of the company run in Sinsheim with 21 motivated runners. With perfect weather, a great atmosphere, and plenty of team spirit, our focus wasn’t just on our athletic performance, but also on a shared goal: doing good.
Thanks to our donation per runner and the support of several local companies, we were able to raise a total of 4,400 euros for the German Children’s Cancer Foundation’s Waldpiratencamp in Heidelberg.
The Forest Pirates Camp offers children and teens with cancer, as well as their families, precious moments of relaxation, togetherness, and joy. We are all the more pleased to be able to contribute to this important work with our donation. At the same time, this initiative shows how much can be achieved when people come together for a good cause.
After the race, we wrapped up our successful day with dinner together at DaNino in Sinsheim. In a relaxed atmosphere, we shared stories, celebrated our successes, and rounded out the evening with lots of good conversation and delicious food.
