When the canteen at the Heidelberg Student Union is filled to capacity at 1 p.m., every move has to be perfect. This is exactly where sophisticated conveying and sorting technology comes into its own.
Together with the Heidelberg Student Union, we have implemented a solution that makes the entire return process efficient, hygienic and reliable.
The trays are collected separately from the conveyor dishwashing system and the cutlery is transported to the ceiling of the room via a magnetic conveyor belt and transferred from there to the next room.
This is where our cutlery sorting machine takes over:
The cutlery falls through a funnel directly into the separating unit, is precisely separated, scanned and automatically sorted into the appropriate containers.
The result: a consistent, cleanly structured process: from the dishwashing area right back to the serving area.
And the most important thing: the technology is stable, reliable and runs exactly as it should.
