The idea for the “Connecting Benches” came about as part of our anniversary campaign. At first glance, benches may seem like something ordinary. But in reality, they are much more than that: they create space for conversations, encounters, memories, and little breaks in everyday life.
We built the connecting benches ourselves with great dedication. Two of them have already found a home on our company grounds and invite employees and visitors alike to take a break.
We would like to donate two more benches to the town of Gemmingen. Our hope is to place them in the Gemmingen cemetery as a tribute to our company’s founders, Ria and Max Dörr.
We associate this with an idea that is particularly close to our hearts: to create a place that brings people together, invites them to pause and reflect, and preserves the memory of two individuals whose values, drive, and dedication continue to shape our company to this day.
Because even after many years, every connection begins with something very simple: an invitation to sit down together and start a conversation.
And some connections last a lifetime.
