The “Helping Runners” scheme
As a family business, we consider it our duty to assume responsibility for a more social, righteous and better world.
We have been organizing fundraisers for many years and have gone without giving away Christmas gifts or presents to our customers. We are personally involved as an entrepreneurial family.
We primarily support the “Waldpiratencamp” (Forest Pirate Camp), an organization of the German Children's Cancer Foundation, in Heidelberg. The camp supports children and young people who have been treated for cancer over several years. They help in taking the first steps back into a "normal" life and in gaining new self-confidence.
Over time, a friendly relationship has developed with the organization and those responsible for the Waldpiratencamp in Heidelberg.
The fundraisers are part of the "HELPING RUNNERS". The idea was born by Thomas Dörr (Managing Director Max Dörr GmbH Förderanlagen and Thomas Dörr GbR Kitchen Systems) and Daniel Hopp (Managing Director SAP Arena Mannheim and Adler Mannheim) due to many joint activities and the great interest in running.
